Against the backdrop of the upgrading of Indonesia's family-oriented consumption market, a 1600㎡ super-large indoor playground has been established in a core commercial landmark. The project focuses on integrating local culture, catering to all ages, and prioritizing safety, breaking through the homogenization bottleneck of traditional amusement parks and becoming a top choice for local families' leisure. It also revitalizes the commercial complex by attracting family-oriented customers, achieving a double increase in both foot traffic and revenue. The project caters to the needs of Indonesian families for nature exploration and parent-child co-education, blending international amusement standards with local characteristics to create a family-friendly space that integrates fun, education, social interaction, and commercial value.

I. Project Overview
The project is located in a prime commercial complex in a core Indonesian city (Jakarta/Bali), surrounded by upscale residential communities, schools, and cultural and tourism hubs. It boasts convenient transportation and serves children aged 3-14 and their parents within a 5-kilometer radius. The project occupies 1600 square meters with a 5.5-meter ceiling height, maximizing space utilization. Positioned as an "all-age family fun space," it transcends mere amusement, incorporating elements of nature education and folk traditions to cater to children of different ages while providing a comfortable environment for parents to spend quality time with their children.
II. Theme and Design
Adopting a modern minimalist custom theme, it integrates local Indonesian cultural symbols, abandons redundant decorations, and presents regional characteristics with simple lines. Thematic elements are precisely integrated into the space, with the shapes of walls, floors, and equipment echoing local culture, resulting in an overall simple and elegant style.
The color scheme is dominated by fresh green and sunset orange, accented with sky blue and ivory white. The colors are bright and not glaring, which suits children's visual preferences and modern aesthetics, creating a simple and comfortable parent-child atmosphere.

III. Functional Zoning
Leveraging its 1600㎡ space, the area is planned according to the principles of "age-based zoning and complementary functions," featuring six core zones with smooth circulation, balancing safety and practicality.
1. Early Childhood Exploration Zone (3-6 years old)
Focusing on the safety and suitability for young children, the floor is covered with a 2.5cm thick food-grade EVA cushioning mat, and all equipment is soft-padded with rounded edges. It features mini slides, soft climbing frames, a themed ball pit, a model tunnel, and an educational building block area, all of which have passed multiple certifications including Indonesian SNI and EU CE. A parent's corner is provided for convenient close supervision.
2. Older Age Challenge Zone (7-14 years old)
Catering to the exploration and social needs of older children, the facility features a high-altitude rope climbing frame, a rotating trampoline, a combination of various slides, and an interactive projection play area. All equipment is equipped with comprehensive safety measures, balancing fun and safety; the interactive projection area incorporates technological elements to enhance engagement.
3. Parent-child interaction area (all ages)
The core parent-child play area spans 280 square meters and features a parent-child climbing wall, a folk craft workshop, a picture book reading corner, and a parent-child sandpit. It breaks away from the "parents waiting" model, strengthens parent-child interaction, and incorporates local cultural elements to meet the needs of family co-education.
4. Parents' rest area
The planned 200㎡ rest area features glass partitions, allowing parents to easily observe their children. It is equipped with comfortable seating, charging outlets, a water dispenser, and Wi-Fi, and includes a special beverage area and reading shelves to enhance parental comfort.
5. Themed Activity Area
The facility offers 250 square meters of flexible space, suitable for diverse events such as birthday parties, parent-child classes, and folk performances. It is equipped with a basic stage and sound system, provides customized event services, and regularly hosts special activities such as science education and craft workshops to enhance customer loyalty.
6. Supporting service area
The entrance features a reception, cashier, and storage area, along with a disinfection zone and a mother-and-baby room. The disinfection zone provides a full range of protective equipment, and the mother-and-baby room is well-equipped. All equipment and areas are regularly cleaned and disinfected, and dehumidification equipment is provided to suit the local climate, ensuring hygiene and comfort.
IV. Safety and Quality Control
With the goal of "zero accidents and zero defects in quality," the entire process adheres to stringent standards. All equipment and materials have passed multiple international and local safety certifications and are environmentally friendly and harmless.
Construction was carried out in strict accordance with commercial building safety standards, and the facility was equipped with comprehensive emergency facilities and bilingual safety signage. During the operation phase, a safety officer was assigned for every 18 square meters, and regular equipment inspections, maintenance, and third-party testing were conducted to ensure comprehensive safety.
V. Commercial Value

The project injected core traffic into the commercial complex. Within three months of opening, the number of members exceeded 5,000, and the peak customer flow on weekends and holidays reached six times that of the daily average. It also boosted consumption in surrounding related businesses and increased the commercial complex's revenue by more than 35%.
Adopting a diversified profit model of "tickets + memberships + value-added services + venue rental", the membership repurchase rate is over 85%, and value-added services account for 28% of revenue. The investment payback period is shortened by 35% compared to traditional indoor playgrounds. Through online and offline integrated marketing, it sets an industry benchmark and achieves a win-win situation for all parties.
VI. Project Summary
The core of this project lies in precisely matching the needs of Indonesian families, breaking through the industry's homogenization by integrating minimalist design, all-age suitability, safety guarantees, and commercial value. The project has built a healthy family-friendly entertainment ecosystem, providing replicable experience for the industry. In the future, it will continue to optimize services and become a benchmark for family entertainment in Indonesia.
